Impossible to make it run in a previous version

I've never had any problems starting the game, yesterday I try to play in 1.28.3, crash, report, try again today, crash. I'd like to know what the problem is, any advice? I don't use VPN or Antivirus that might give problems from what I read in the forum, so I have no idea what the problem is, I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but it doesn't help. If there is already an open discussion about this issue I would like it to be linked below please. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help and excuse me for my grammar, I am not a native English speaker

When you revert game versions you should delete the Documents/paradox/eu4/ folder, so the older game can write it the way it wants to. Obviously move any valued save games out first!

So, if I understand correctly, I have to revert the game to the previous version and then delete the folder, right?
Last thing, will I have trouble re-inserting saves in the future, when will I put back the current version?
I have a couple of active multiplayer games but currently stopped due to exams that I wouldn't want to miss to do this thing.

Either way around should work.

Just make sure you never load them under any game version except the one they were created with.
