Sometimes when we attack a provinse from to or sevral provinses, and often after a rotation attack, the division in the provinse dies, evan tho it has an eamty provinse in the area of it, who it teoreticly it can retreat out throu. The Organisation is often veary low in this matters, however the strength in all the tests over 50%.

We wounder if this is a bugg or not, or if it is something that it is an inbuilt feture cused by a local encerklements inside that peticuler battle provunse or others simuler inbuildt fetures in the battle.

I ask for replays.

Are you bombing the province while attacking? This can wipe out the retreating division...

What kind of infrastructure are you in? If you pound a single division and force it to retreat in foreign territory with very low org., it may not make it

If the Infrastructure in the area is low enough, the defeated units will disappear instead of retreating.

Not sure if it's the Infra in the target province or in the "retreat" province that counts... but I have seen this fairly often. North Africa and other low-Infra areas are especially good "hunting grounds".

You can also occasionally see this in open plains with armor div. There was an mention to that effect in the 1.3 readme.txt:

- Units retreating to enemy-controlled territory with enemy units in both target and source province will now be eliminated.

To reverse that to the attacking side:

If you have your units in both provinces when an enemy unit is trying to retreat, it can (will?) be eliminated.

I've seen that a few times, but I am not sure how to intentionally trigger this rule.

I think that this is a different issue... I believe High Command is solely referring to units, that aren't already retreating...
Retreating units are now (since HoI 1.3) deleted, because they could occupy enemy territory when eventually arriving there. A rather annoying thing, if you were trying to uphold a consistent front...

Don't forget that it could also be that these dying units are garissons, or corps containing them. Garissons never retreat: They are immediately destroyed after losing a battle.

A similar thing happened to me when a unit retreated to a province I was attacking. It lost the battle and vanished. I was wondering whether it was a feature or bug.

I've had enemy units disappear when I hit them in low infra area's.
Perhaps the game works out there's no chance of the unit making it to the next friendly area before losing all it's strength throught travelling in a low infra area

garrison units can retreat, if stationed in a coastal province and a transport is waiting in an adjacent seaprov

Ok. But that's perhaps one in thousand that will be saved this way.
But sorry, this has nothing to do with the original question...

no garrisons of course, its reguler divisions dying in normal attack instead of potential retreat.. happens often after rotatiuon attack, and thay have a free retreat way, strtength on 40%+ and org usualy below 10% ect...

Hes saying that his divisions are attacked and retreating. Air does not destroy them, they are not cut off. They have a province to go to. There are no garrisons. Their strength well over 0%. They just disappear. Ive seen that too.
Once in the SCW It happened to me as I attempted a local retreat, ending my great chances of winning into hopeless defeat. :(
