Becoming the Crisis is easily one of the most interesting things that were introduced in the latest expansion, but I feel like replayability leaves the "Galactic Imperium" as a far more appealing option. I think this can be remedied easily enough by recognizing that not all Crises as building an end to the universe, but instead a crisis of a different kind.

If I am playing a Criminal Syndicate Megacorporation, I would have no interest in being part of the galactic community or ruling an empire, we care about making money off illegal merchandise and back-room deals. Why not create a Galactic Criminal Underworld that essentially raises crimes on all planets, turns the galaxy darker and more hectic. THAT is a Crisis too!

If I am playing Barbaric Despoilers, why not let me become the Great Khan and give me the option to unite the marauder clans in the same way! You can even use the Federation or Imperium system that is currently in place to balance it a bit.

I am not saying we need countless options for every type of government or playstyle, but there are some things that still feel outplaced and kinda pointless in the current implementation of the Nemesis expansion. I get that so far all the Crises have been about destroying all life in the galaxy, but I feel "Ending the Galaxy as we know it." should also be an option for those groups that are less about destruction and power at any cost and more about profit and undermining "civilized" galactic standards.

I want to play my Criminal Syndicate like the Zhan Consortium from Empire At War. And corrupt the galaxy
Right?! You want to see a crisis? Imagine every planet having more and more crime as a crime syndicate literally makes the galaxy into an extended black market and politicians/bureaucrats start accepting bribes, etc. Now THAT is a crisis!
