Hey guys so I'm new to this mod & new to playing the Roman Empire in general. What is contained within the imperial reconquest - tier 1? I've conquered all of the de-jure Roman Empire provinces & if I go to "Is War Possible?" in the intrigue decisions this is still showing available (even though I've used the CB on everyone possible now). What happens when you finish this, do you get a new CB or anything for "tier 2" or such?

Cheers

EDIT: I'm silly the answer is in the Project Balance thread. Oh well, does anyone know what happens when you finish 1 tier anyway?

Once you finish tier 1, Imperial Reconquest can be used on all valid targets within tier 2, which is an expanded de jure zone that will be shown in "Imperial Reconquest Tier <X>" decision's tooltip.

EDIT: It was a stray barony, its working as intended now, thanks for your help!

If you want to know about the tiers you can find this in the file '00_imperial_reconquest' in [location of CK2 folder]\mod\Historical Immersion Project\common\cb_types.

#This casus belli replaces the vanilla one, and instead uses a tier system to determine what kingdoms are valid targets
#To unlock a tier, all tiers before it have to be completely conquered
#Tier 1: Byzantium
#Tier 2: Balkans and Sicily
#Tier 3: Italy, Levant, and Eastern/Central North Africa
#Tier 4: Western North Africa and Iberia
#Tier 5: France
#Tier 6: England, Wales, and (southern) Germany

I'm curious, why isn't k_mesopotamia included for tier 6? according the in game pop-up, Trajan conquered it at one point.

Trajan did indeed conquer Mesopotamia. He advanced all the way to one of the old Achaemenid Capitals, Susa.

But the province was abandoned only a year later when he died.

If it is to be included it certainly shouldn't be unlocked before tier 6.

I was content to allow Catholics to stay in my realm, not forcing them to convert to Orthodox. But they keep giving away baronies to Catholic holy orders, screwing up the imperial reconquest CB. So now I'm going to have to purge Catholicism from my lands.
