So I did a county conquest of Imperial Isle and took it from a Republic. That's fine. Then I thought I would make it simple by using the console command to turn the first building in the county to a castle... console commands don't seem to be working.

I managed to grant it to some guy who was the baron of Fort Legion but is that even the proper castle or is that a secondary one?

If anyone has the info for the console then that would be great.

Thanks

The white-gold tower is supposed to be the primary for feudal characters.

By the way, it is quite frustrating to claim the white gold tower : we have to revoke the barony owner after conquering the county, incuring tyrany.
There could be a simple event inspired from the vanilla one for Constaninople or Rome (with Byzantium or Restored RE) allowing the player to claim the White Gold Tower as his capital.
Vanilla event is quite simple to modify.
Conditions could be :
- Being King of the hearthland
- Being dragondorn/Dragonblood
- Owning the Amulet of Kings
The next one seem obsolete to me as a payer would try to claim the Iùperial isle as soon as possible
- being the High King of Cyrodiil
- Being the Emperor of Tamriel/Cyrodiil

Vanilla event could be enhanced with moral choice allowing traits to be gained as the owner of the barony would ask for compensation :
- No compensation would give bad trait
- monetary compensation
- promise to give a title. If promise kept, it could give good trait (do not know if this can be scripted)
