It would be nice if I could make heirs governors or something or if we could see their future agendas and plan around them. It just seems like kind of a waste to have that part of your government to be so static.
What are the benefits for an Imperial government? The only one I see so far is the noble elite civic, which already confuses me on why dictators can't have access to it. Why can't an elective monarchy be one that elects it's ruler from the nobility? That's already the rationale behind the noble republics of oligarchies, why is it no longer possible if the elected ruler is for life?
