On another note, has anyone played R y o's AoD mod with Kasperus map in Single Player? I have found that the tendency for save files to be corrupted are quite high, and all the games I started thus far are unplayable because I'm unable to load the save after I play it for 1-3 times. Anyone else had this issue, or would know the cause?

about to play a second session this evening. I have very much enjoyed it, unless of course it is corruptible. so far so good.

I did to test it out few days ago, only stopped as none of the colonial powers showed any interest in actually colonizing. No issue with corrupt saves though.

Yep, that's true. The scenario is built mostly for multiplayer in mind, and AI doesn't colonise at all.

Aye, just to clarify, the lack of AI colonization in the "AOD" mod is naturally intentional so AI'd nations sit nice and comatose . Courtesy of the 'designer'.
