Well we were just too many players/didnt had good host enough. Duma was right when he said that we should take the decision ourselves if we couldnt stick with Bellis hosting, so I did. I cannot fight the hosts OE having such a large tactical backdraw, therefore I left. Hope this was an revive to the game rather then a deathblow. Have fun.

Personally I would much rather keep you guysin the game, but I was getting tired of player's saying it's lagging and we need a new host. We moved over to SpecterX for you guy's, and then Flatus quit's on us because he deemed I lied to him. I don't want to see player's leave, but we got less then 10 year's done this session. We need to realize that if we can't find a good enough host, for the amount of player's we have, then we need to decide if it's in our best intrest to keep playing or leave if it's too much of a pain. If Devil can somehow fix his connection, I think we can all hope to use him in the future. But for now Bel really is our best bet.

As for Flatus, I understand why you may be pissed that I attacked you since you were lagging, but quite frankly if anyone seriously thought I would give England a break because, one you are a sub and two you are lagging. Then you need to understand that player's will do what's best for their nation in the long term. And I gave you one chance to cede Calais to me for some cash in return. You refused so I went to Denmark and brought them onboard.

And lastly I did not give England any guarentee's that I would not attack them. That would be utterly foolish on my part. Calais was a huge sticking point, and as soon as Devil and then you made it abundantly clear that I would have to pay up the nose for it, I was going to goto war against you. At least Temu is going to compensate England for them going AI, and I think Denmark should be compensated as well since they went AI as well. Brand and anyone else as well.

Denmark didn't get what John wanted, which was Canada, but at least he has England's map's. So in the end England can recover.

no offense but i did state perfectly i wouldn't play if england was ai'd , its a regular player that couldn't make 1 session and arranged for sub , wich only left cause of the gang while he was lagging and under impression that you sayd not to attack him today

Ok I talked to Flatus and drake, and I got their views on what happend today...

I am quite sure there could have been a communication misunderstanding between flatus and Duma, but quite frankly I am disapointed... If you have any honor, then you make sure the other party is informed of your real intension, I trust my friend completely,

Regarding him "just" leaving, I confirmed he explained drake why he was leaving. But I really don't care.

I know lying is part of the game... But its really cheasy to say you won't attack to a trusting sub no matter what, then dow 3 years later. I noticed, conviniently while England is outside the spainish alliance.

Anyway seeing that 2 people have quit today, cause of lag. I think I will join them, I see no reason to continue this game.

I have a clear cut log that tell's flatus not to worry about it, duma would talk to me between sessions... If it aint cheasy to dow 3 years later then I don't know what it is...

You should of known this was going to happen Devil when you decided to hold on to Calais. Third, having Flatus tell me that I lied, when I was straight up with him is more then annoying. Having him then decide that he can't play because I lied to him, then we simply put DO NOT need a player like him in our game.

I am now getting alittle tired of Flatus and the fact he is twisting the fact's to suit his own need's. He was a sub and as HG said, it doesn't make you immune to war's. You either have to roll with the punch's or not play the game.

I choose to trust my friend, and I would, even if he didn't have the evidence, clearly you are pissed, you got busted while doing your dirty deeds, and now your honor is in the dirt... This is no way the exact quote, but what I can remember I saw.

I don't know, as you pointed out, what precisely was said... But in my experience Duma is always upfront-and he notified me well in advance (last session and before his DOW today). It was planned when you were scheduled to play and there's no reason to think it'd be put on hold for a sub.

To your information I was going to sell calais, and I expected Duma to contact me between session. He didn't I never saw a word from him, neither in the thread. I call that bad diplomacy... all know bad diplomacy looses you the game.

Also had I been threathened I would have sold it to my ally in spain, in a second... But all this doesn't really matter now. I guess Tem must have forgot to reinvite england, but what do I know

The reason I am quitting is the game going with AI, England, Bra, Persia and Austria. In a very critical time period. Not to forget the lag its just too much, I prefer playing in rots from now on.

So let me see, why on earth would I consider giving a NAP to Flatus if he was intending to snub me in the face?

Uhh how bout Devil you try re-reading that log you so misinterpreted. When I said "I prefer you take it with devil is that allright", It's Flat talking to you about giving me that province in a cash deal. Here's another clue, Flatus NEVER asked for a NAP, neither did I ask for one. Got that or can you not read a log?

Here's more, I was more intrested in letting you decide if you should sell, but I was willing to buy Calais if he offered it. There was NO NAP ever negotiated, so you want to twist that log around so you look like an angel, you go ahead. Flatus was never immune from a war, and if you want to feel sorry for Flatus because he got England in a tight spot and support his side. You go for it, but re-read the damn log and tell me where it say's I will not attack England that session. It's only Flatus's misinterpretation of what I said that got him in trouble.

One thing more, Flatus attitude sucked. He whined when I attacked him and refused to play because I what? Broke my word? MY GOD IN HEAVEN! You know this is a game of diplomacy. Breaking agreement's always happen. Get real.
