Imperial Elective Question

So. To facilitate my further scheming:
My Gothic ruler (vassal of Byzantines Empress) will soon-ish become a king of Bulgaria. And personally own every province there.

Now - if for some reason I got elected Emperor of Byzantines, what would happen? Most likely I would get Constantinople. Then I would be Emperor personally owning k_bulgaria plus Constantinople. Questions:

1) if another guy is elected next Emperor instead of my heir:
a) Would my family stay kings of Bulgaria?
b) I would lose Constantinople though?
c) what about provinces/titles acquired during my Emperorship - would my heir keep those or the new Emperor?
d) what about my retinues I had as a king of Bulgaria? Would new Emperor get to own them?
e) any other things? Like money, treasury - would those stay in the family?

Damn Byzantines are tough - just when all I needed was Bulgaria to stop wars so I could usurp it... my wife’s mom (sister of previous wife, mom of new wife, I think she wants me) declares vassalization war on Bulgarian king. That guy surrenders... and I find myself as his vassal!!
I said - well then, independence it is. Go for war. She declares realm peace.
