An empire playing a imperial authority should be able to spend 100-200 influence to have the current ruler leave their throne so that the heir takes over and maybe for dictatorial authority ruler something similar. Since if a ruler lives for a long time or synthetically evolves they are locked by who their ruler is at the time. If the player feels it necessary being able to shift rulers they can better control who rules the nation.
