Being way too hyped for the game for how soon it still is, I've been replaying EU:Rome (and having a lot of fun with it) and one of the "issues" is keeping track of the sheer amount of characters to deal with. It's not that there are too many. It's great seeing all these characters trying to further their careers, murdering their rivals, becoming corrupt, disloyal, etc.
But in truth, due to the limited amount of portrait variation it's hard to remember characters and to see who is who. I think that this might why they're emphasising realism and uniqueness for the new character portraits to such a degree. I was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience. Hopefully there will also be tons of characters in Imperator.
