Major Recommendations
The game could do with a lot more features, as it feels rather lackluster/boring. Adding something like an ideas mechanic and government costomization from eu4 (There should be six different kinds of government: Migratory tribe, settled tribe, republic, oligarchy, monarchy, dictatorship and the name and bonuses of each government should be determined by the laws of your country. The laws should be unique to each government type), deeper characters from in CK2, and more realistic pops would greatly improve the game (e.g for pops the game should have upper class, middle class, lower class, tribesmen, and slaves and have being a citizen as a separate tag).
I also think the idea of promoting pops is ridiculous! The population should grow organically, and the ratio should be determined by laws, government type, and recent events.
There should be a lot more building options (e.g an individual building for taxes, commerce, manpower, unrest, forts, infrastructure [for supply limit], growth, and increasing the number of natural resources e.c.t) and things to do during peacetime.
You should be able to customize the equipment each unit uses, e.g a gladius or spear for heavy infantry or the amount of armor (leather or metal e.t.c) effecting who the unit is good against and their cost/upkeep. There should be more ship options and automatic unit shipping. The AI also does not use their ships.
I dislike the implementation of the scorned family mechanic, it should differ based on the government you have (e.g it should have less of an effect for democracies because their rulers change and it should be more meritocratic) and some countries have too many families to placate.
The UI needs a major rework and diplomacy feels stale. You should be able to trade goods, such as money, oratory/mill/civic, and provinces/cities power. There also needs to be more events. The AI is also unbelievably stupid. I like the base of the game, and I had fun playing it for ten or so hours, but it need a lot more content and optimization (It runs terribly).
Thanks
Extra Note:
I was playing as Athens, and it is really silly that you cannot declare war on your overlord if you are another war with them. You should be able to switch to the opposing side, or peace out with the other side and declare war on your overlord yourself as part of an agreement.
Thanks
