I'd rather the devs were playing single player. The game actually looks rather fun as a massively multiplayer experience, but is dull for single player. I can't help but believe that this is largely due to the devs having spent much of their time experiencing I:R as a multiplayer game.
Im guessing there will be an I:R rome in august, before the release of the big update overhauling the game and then a EU4 one around november, to show the EU4 big expansion as well.
I agree with @Lord Canterbury though that I much rather they spent that precious time playing the game in single player and seeing if they enjoy it, and what would they do to improve the single player experience, what do they find lacking or boring, and fill the gap. Multiplayer is always fun and can blindside you about the problems of the game. Because apparently the devs dont play the game in singleplayer much, judging by the stuff they've missed.
