Immersion Packs

I pre ordered Sots2 on Impulse, but dont seem to have access to the Liir/Morrigi immersion packs that it was supposed to come with. In game I can see them on the faction list, but I cant select any, they are all greyed out. When I pre-ordered, I was sent an email with some kind of Key code, along with the bill of sale and all that. Ive tried that code on Impulse and Steam and neither works. So is this something just missing or have I done something wrong? Ive been given no other code via email.....

I could add the key to steam just fine.

I don't have the Impulse Version. But my GG Version added fine on Steam.

Is your code a 3 group of 5 letters?

I assume your game is already activated since you can launch it?

There is an issue that if you don't have Steam running you won't see the DLCs (e.g. manually launch the game).

What is the error Steam gives you when you try to activate?

Its 6 rows of 5 keys. And my steam is always on, I SEE the packs in game, I just cant access any of them. There is no error, when I imput the key I was given, it simply says its invalid.

Everyone can see the DLCs. But you need to have the DLC registered for your Steam account for it to show.

Right click on the game, and select properties, goto the "Downlodale Content" tab and see if its listed.

If the DLC key they give you is invalid, then you might have to contact impulse and steam to get it sorted out.

AH finally, I got it. Looked over Impulse's website, had to manually extract it via some wonky Show first run window. But I got it. Jeez, cant anything be simple these days lol. Thanks for the feedback guys.

This is how you can now finally get them in case you bought from Impulse:

Summary:

Go to client, right click game, select "Show First Run Info", copy DLC key, go to Steam client, click Games, select "Activate a Product on Steam...", in the following dialogue paste your key and end the dialogue and voilà. Now you can select you DLC in the game's player setup when you select your faction.
