i want to make a leader pic size 36/50,but when i do it the middle of the picture isn't of the general, i am using paint. can somebody please write me an explanation on how to resize the image to 36/50? i have also photoshop,but there when i change the size for example 36 to the height the other size also changes.
please help

Stick to Photoshop, and stop using Paint.

But seriously, when using Photoshop just rescale the image to approx. the right size, then copy-paste into a new image of the correct size (36x50). That means you can even move the target image layer around a bit for optimum result. Alternatively you can change the canvas size.
