I think it's fine. If less frequent patches means a higher quality of those we get, I am all for it.
Quality > quantity.
Quality > quantity.

I somewhat agree with your post, but give the team some time to catch up with the bugs. I'd say 6 months/ 1 year. The prioritization in the bug forum will help for the most annoying ones. There is difference between hot bugs or some balancing issues. When a fundamental part of the fleet managing, like reinforcement, isnt working as intended and a major bug cripples modded multiplayers...
The quality of the LEM update is fine, the bugs are not. Even with a more periodic patchcycle bugs can be fixed in the post release phase.
The most annoying thing about Lem right now for me is the Unbidden completely ignoring FTL inhibitors. There's no reason why they can't just be programmed to bombard planets with FTL inhibitors until the inhibitor is disabled.
For anyone else who was confused by this, I went through and read the other threads MonzUn mentioned. The intent is for Unbidden to use jump drives to jump over fortress systems, not a "oh they have jump drives so inhibitors don't effect them at all anymore" which is how I first interpreted it.I've responded to this in many threads already, but it's more complex than this and it's also against the design of the Unbidden.
They have jump drives and should not be hindered by FTL inhibitors.
That's how it currently works, though."oh they have jump drives so inhibitors don't effect them at all anymore"
Yes, and the answer is "We wanted them to ignore inhibitors, just not like this", as opposed to "working as intended, nothing wrong here"That's how it currently works, though.
