Should I go on conquering France, and become France, or form Great Britain?

115226-4d889bf294922cc91a8900006bf8a50b.jpg

Do I want to be horse eatin' Wine drinkers? Or the French?

Forming France would give me free cores on Burgundian areas, and the like, but forming Britain would secure my place as a naval superpower, with France being just another colony.

So the big question,

Do you want your Eggs Contintental, or Scrambled?

Get as much as you can out of England and then form France. Being continental or colonial isn't mutually exclusive. Surround yourself with vassals and/or become Emperor on top of build a colonial empire.

Doing England -> France -> Holy Roman Empire is an option, though simply England -> France is much more interesting than just England -> Great Britain since England-France lets you do both land and naval.

Maintenance costs are the only thing that stop you from wrecking everyone, and having cores on both England and France plus profits from your vassals should be more than enough to build a sizable army, navy, and manage your colonies.

i think all the decisions you can pass as GB are also available to england, so pass those first then tag switch to france for even more unique buffs.

Yeah, GB Can't form France, so That's why I either choose GB or France.

Yeah, but I'm in a war with Spain ATM, they re-annexed Navarra, Leon, Galicia, the second I released them, those bastard Spaniards, so, my imfamy will be sky high, by the time I've dismantled them, and vassalised Portugal, still my imfamy goes down 1 a year, due to High diplomatic ruler and Diplomat Advisor, so 20 years and I'll be clean.

Force them to release Navarra, Leon, and Galicia, and guarantee them when Spain comes back for them. If you lose your alliance with them, vassalize them at your first opportunity. Spain should be easy to break with a combination of land occupation and a total blockade.

France should be able to do this by himself, nevermind England -> France that may or may not be Emperor.

I already finished the war :/ Demanded the regions of Spain Napoleon took, Navarra to become my vassal, Portugal to revoke cores on regions they used to own and lastly, Savoy to concede defeat.

Formed France, guerre-éclaired Burgundy, Fought off the Austrians, who came looking for the Diplo-annexed Luxembourg, now, it's colonial season, and Newfoundland looks good.

Wish D&T would make a Anglo-Franco Union state, England owning France is weird, but France owning England?

Next target is Savoy, unfortunately, they are allied with Spain, part of Austria's HRE and Everyone else will probably declare on me, when they see me weak, so when my imfamy gets down to acceptable levels, there will be a two front Franco-HRE-Spanish war, still, free cores there, so it will cost me no imfamy to get 50% of Savoy (They own South east France to the alps) demand they avoid Spain, then the next chunk in a war, hopefully, just against the HRE.

Oh, and I became a Republic, Partly because my heir sucked donkey balls, partly because Liberté, égalité, fraternité

P.S, currently contructructing a 550 mile long Fort 2 wall along our HRE border.
