Heh, sorry for the bad pun but I'm really frustrated. It is 1933, I'm playing Serbia in vanilla Rev GC, and I haven't had the techs Gas Attack Capability nor Gas Defend Capability fired yet. By checking the triggers I see this:
I researched the required tech many many years ago (can't remember when but probably around 1860 or something) and at the moment I'm the most advanced nation in the world, but still I haven't had the inventions firing. How come?
All my neighbours, Italy, Austria, Russia and the Ottoman Empire (and Greece, but they will cease to exist soon) have these techs and having a really unfair advantage. It's really hard to win wars against them with that disadvantage. I try hard to abstain from cheating and exploits in all forms but it's really tempting to fire the techs manually.
Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Code:
trigger = {
technology = 1004
date = { day = 1 month = january year = 1895 }
offset = 60 # Check for trigger conditions every 60 days
deathdate = { day = 30 month = december year = 1935 }
