I'm loving the new navy AI, but wow does England like invading Hungary in the 100YW

I've played multiple games as different countries to get a feel for the new patch, where I've observed this behavior. The first time I noticed something was strange was when I saw France had occupied London, despite having a smaller navy. That's when I noticed that England was on the other side of Europe sieging Hungary. Sure, I knew that France was calling new allies in now with the new patch, but I had no idea it was to be such a siren call for the English! So much for learning to defend their own shores from the Frenchies!

In the end, the worst result I saw was France demanding Cornwall be released in addition to the usual French cores, so I guess it's not really game breaking in any way. Just funny.

In my test game England lost the Norman provinces in the HYW, but trounced Burgundy who'd attacked opprtunistically, and took the Frisian province next to Calais. They are definitely better at moving troops.

Agreed, they are much better at moving troops. Let's hope over time the AI gets a little better at choosing where to move them. :D

This seems to be a regular occurrence for England, sending their armies miles away, then leaving themselves under invasion by either foreign enemies or rebels. In real life, we were never invaded since 1066 for a reason. Firstly we are on an island, & secondly defended by our navy, but in game these advantages never seem to occur to the AI. That is the reason I never play England, as I never have to worry about defending the country, & get bored with having to colonise the world. Portugal was enough.

Actually, they did get invaded even within the time frame, see the glorious revolution http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glorious_Revolution.
A few years before that the Dutch crippled a great part of the English fleet. In both cases the English rulers were disorganized and slow to respond. It was afterwards that the real naval power of soon to be Great Britain began.
In game no England which stood until 1630-ish ever had to fear invasions, that I know of. The HYW and earlier events can break England a bit too much atm though.

There may have been isolated incidents when the country came close to being invaded, but there was never a chance the whole country would be taken over by enemy troops or rebels as in the game. Usually because the armies & fleet had gone of somewhere else or been destroyed. I am only asking for the English AI to take advantage of England's strong points & not their weaknesses.

Nothing new there the AI already did that pre-1.8; in fact it does it since 2012 when an expansion for HOI III was released. The AI has no clue it simple invades whatever/wherever it does not matter. If the AI suffered from attrition that behavior would be much more game breaking than it already is because it would lose all their ships/army in a regular basis.

The AI is the same for every country, but each country is scripted to take this or that idea, decision or mission.
