I remember when they first added restricted theocracies I was very angry and modded it to allow me to have unlimited again

sometimes I want to have my kingdom to be a perfect inner bordered, perfectly christian, kingdom!

Why does the restriction on theocracies cause bordergore?

Bishops do not inherit each others lands like regular counts and dukes do. So it makes managing the perfect de jure map super easy if inheritance does not occur.

Is it not so aggravating to have at last your vassals in their perfect order, in their place. And then through marriage, combine!? Then you must split it up again.

The WOMAN is the most dangerous ruler in orderly kingdoms!

I mean I'm sure there going to form and join factions but do bishops even fabricate claims for their duchy? Regardless it should mitigate the amount of bordergore that conclave created from not allowing me to make my vassals banned from warring with each other.

I see, seems easier to manage that way. If you get Reaper's Due you can ask vassals to stop delcaring war on eachother, but I find it really strange how that part wasn't added as a free patch to Conclave.

Edit: Or just a patch to the vanilla game I guess.

What do you mean? There's a section of the patch notes that's listed under "free features". My thought was that it made sense with how Conclave restricts the ability to prevent vassals from declearing war on eachother to give a "fix" as a free update, instead of having to get the Reaper's Due for it. That being said I'm not ungrateful for the huge amounts of other free features which is being added to the base game, I just found that one bit somewhat puzzling.

I mean every patch is a patch on vanilla, which is why you don't need every DLC to play Multiplayer.

Ah, but the decision to ask vassals to end wars was listed as a feature of the Reaper's Due DLC, hence I assumed it wouldn't be accessable through the vanilla game.

What.

Really

Well ****. That blows.

I was looking forward to being able to activate conclave but now I need to wait till I can afford RP.

Looks like I'm playing 2.4.5 CK2+ for another month.

I'd sooner have all republican vassals. They generate more money and their levies aren't all that weaker. Also, if catholic I don't have to worry about bishops appointing my sons as heirs to their bishoprics.
