I know Kothringi were revealed in ESO in some way, but do we actually know of the Lilmothiit ever existing for sure? They could also just have been a subspecies of Khajiit, or were Khajiit first encountered by people, likely Argonians, who had never seen a Khajiit before. Though given they have the same specific suffix, -iit, they may truly have been cousins. I think they're the only races in TES that we've not seen in any way now, where as we at least hear about specific Imga and Dwemer.

Speaking of Dwemers, this may be unrelated, but are they incorporated into the mod any other way than being playable through the Ruler Customizer? It would be interesting if Yagrum Bagarn types appear in the world, perhaps through events. Maybe a super ambitious Dwemer with crazy artifacts that was lost in some plane of Oblivion could come back and attempt to reclaim the Dwemer world, and thus the world above it as well? Seems like an interesting Aztec Invasion, if multiple invasion types could be incorporated. Just a thought.

I'll be giving the map a try in some of my free time, though classes start soon so we'll have to see how productive I can manage to be during them.

I think they said at some point that the Dwemer and Falmer would not be developed too much, as they are practically extinct. There may be a handful of true falmer living out there in complete isolation, and so far we know that Yagrum Bagarn is the only living dwemer. Making so much stuff for something that's not even present for the most part would be a waste of time. Sure, it's fun to go through the Ruler Designer and create dwemer and falmer kingdoms (I did it myself, exterminating the Kamal and taking their frozen lands for my newly created falmer empire, and it was fun as hell), but to be honest, as much as I like the idea of resurrecting dead cultures, I'd rather have more fluff on living cultures, as even without ruler designing them, you'll have the AI going through that stuff whenever you're not playing a chosen culture. The Orcs having their own government and their duels, trying to create a new Orsinium, will certainly affect your gameplay even if you're a Nord trying to unite Skyrim.

TL;DR - Dead cultures are dead, and they are not likely to have any impact on normal gameplay should they be developed.

The only way I could possibly see the Dwemer returning is if they do a noncanon event where the Dwemer start to reappear or others such as Yagrum Bagarn start to return from random journeys beyond the mortal plane to discover their race gone and try to either rebuild, take the place of vanilla's random skilled Jewish courtiers showing up and offering to join someone's court. Personally, I always found it odd that only a single Dwemer was outside Mundus at the time their race vanished, so I take a "if it happened once, it could happen again" stance on Yagrum Bagarn's existence.

Could be. And don't get me wrong, as I said I've played falmer a lot of times just because, xD. I'm only saying that according to canon dwemer/falmer returning is unlikely to happen, so adding them is more of an easter egg than something to be taken too seriously.

Let me tell you this, those sloads are so hideous that it will be my primary goal to extinguish their race from the map.

This got me thinking, would it be possible to make an entire race go extinct in the mod? I mean, races of new characters can only appear in a court of someone with the same race, right? So, if I was to unland every let's say, Nord in the world and wait a few decades, would they all be dead? Assuming no new Nord got landed and generated more Nords.

As long as there are nord cultured countys then thing like peasant revolts and city mayor being generated if they don't have any courtiers will generate new nord characters

So, in that case what one would need to do would be literally wipe out the culture over hundreds of years through culture conversion?

Yes, we do. At least about as much as things like the Naga, Sload, or locations/places that haven't been directly shown but mentioned, and made it into this mod. The Lilmothiit are described in two games. And yes, they are related to the Kitty-folk, but they are not cat-folk themselves.

Also they founded a city that shows up in a game, and is mentioned!

Sorry, I misworded that, I meant to say currently existing. As far as we know they're long extinct, or at least long in hiding, right?

Also, compare the wikis of the Lilmothiit, the Tsaesci, and the Sloads--the Lilmothiit are so undetailed. I'm hoping we get to learn more about them because they seem interesting enough, something along the lines of cousins to the Khajiit perhaps, but they seem like one of those extended lore-type things we just won't see much more about. It furthers my reasoning that an early set TES game is needed, one where we can see Dwemer, Tsaesci, Sloads, and potentially Lilmothiit all together.

That said, was there ever a time when eastern invaders were ruling in Tamriel at the same time as the Dwemer still... existing?

I doubt Bethesta ever go backward. They seem keen on making sequels rather than prequels, though it would be cool. I think the most we could hope for is what we already have which is indirect lore.

I still think they should be included in mod though, and I'm not the only one.

A lot of people are saying the next game will take place outside of Tamriel entirely, though I haven't been keeping up with then news myself. If that is true then maybe we'll get to see more new things.

There's so much land in Tamriel that isn't covered or detailed on yet, and I'm still sure they'll do a Valenwood next for some reason, but that's a whole different topic I guess.

Would still be interesting. Though with cannibalism playing a large role in a game I don't know how that will go. xb I'm sure whatever they chose though will be good. I'd much prefer it be a new area though and hopefully not back in one of the already covered regions.
