Every 500 hours of EU I've had a burnout- try another PDX game or another Genre entirely.

Going back to TW games and Civilization games almost killed me, it got me back into EU within a day after I hit my 2000 hour burnout.

Imperium Universalis is a pretty cool mod to add to the other list.

You could always try one of the new nation in the Philippines. I found them interesting as it made the naval side of things a bit more intense for the first 50 or so years.

I share how you feel too, there's not much to do other than blobbing & war. Multiplayer sounds even more like a war game (albeit more competitive), I just don't find it very fun...

But I have to say this is a great game that still has tremendous potential, and I've decided to take a break from the game for a few months then try some new mechanics. Maybe OP you can try some new games, or focus on your work/study for a while, since EU4 can really kills time when you're addicted LOL

I thought Cusco>Inca>sun god achievement would be almost impossible, but it was one of the most fun games I've had in eu4. I ended up getting no pirates in my caribbean and georgia on my mind as well because I had time left.

I don't know who you played as recently, but I suggest India or Western Africa as the most dynamic and interesting regions. I completed 2 European games in a year, one of them for the OP absoutism stacking when it was released with the sole purpose of One Tagging as early as possible. In the meantime, I completed about 5 African games, and even more in India/Indochina. Europe can quickly be boring because of how slow everything is with that insane AE and these far too stable powers (which is why everyone flees Europe by spreading no CBs around the map). If you mostly played in Europe, I can perfectly understand the feeling that the game gets boring. Try to open up to new areas.
Then again, I assume you mostly played in Europe because that's what people do, but giving us more infos on who you played as might help.

On my from CK2 converted game i found a horse nation. They are on the Falklands and their culture is horse ruled by king glitterhof.
