I'm bored of Cities Skylines. I hate saying it. I was so excited about the game, but I'm really, really bored.
No I'm not the greatest city builder ever, and I've barely come passed 60K citizens. But the gameplay gets repetitive and boring at some point..

That's what I liked about SimCity; there was always something more to add, something more to dig deeper into. City specialization, or just simply: a minigame sort of.

Education, gambling, metals and refining metals into something more that in turn could be used for electronics, oil that could be refined into plastics or gas, exporting raw goods to earn more money etc.

Those things kept me going! I loved it! I really wish Cities Skylines would have features like that, so you can forget about all the roads and optimization for a minute, and enjoy building and creating a business within the city.

Oh my... Can't change the title. Sorry.

I disagree with you. Yes the game can be repetitive at some points. Try and play in Hard Mode without the Unlimited Money mod or find some of the more challenging mods on the Workshop, like Rush Hour, the Challenges mod or the Fire Spread mod.
Or play the game without any Workshop mods/assets + in Hard Mode without the Unlimited Money mod and see what happens.

Or do something completely different, style up, landscape your cities, create beautiful parks or other areas.

Don’t forget this game is still under development, plenty of new stuff will be added in the next couple of weeks/months/years.

I totally agree. It was enjoyable watching a city grow into a entertainment centre, with Casinos and theatres, programming events and watching the sims come to the show. It added more to the game play and made you feel more in total control of city.

It would be great to see this implemented in to the game. Cause at the moment, a casino feels like a building with no character, industrial areas seem to be just a means of blurry pollution.
