According to a post by Lothos, the TRP site has been suffering lots of hacking attempts that originate in Turkey so he banned the entire country.gräddsås said:Everybody from turkey is banned!Dont know why.
Proxy server should work (I think) but yea the site got hacked a few times and each and every time it originated from Turkey so I just banned the entire country and put server level security on the admin folders.
The last hack succesfull attempt the hacket got frustrated as he only exploited a phpBBS bug and could not hack the server security. So he deleted a few threads manually and got frustrated cause that would have taken him all week to delete every thread in the system and I could just do a db restore in a matter of minutes. So he posted some hate posts and left.
Anyways nothing personal but Turkey has some bad IT people that just want to cause trouble for no reason at all.
