Story goes a Purity Assembly sits on my southern border cutting me off from there and the Empire across the way.

Said Empire goes to war with them and promptly begins to lose hard (so does a second Empire).

So, in order to prevent the eventual destruction of my species and their own I enter the war. I beat the purifier fleet in a very pitched, even, and quite very fun to watch match that I barely make it out of.

My Battle Thralls secure the two worlds I'd determined to cleanse and I win the war (thank you! Reworked war score). This cuts a friendly path to the other Empire and gives me space to breath/ colonize while trimming the purifier back. The other two will mop up.

Only, it's 70 years later and the galaxy still severely dislikes me. Yea. You're welcome galaxy.

Moral of the story, you may not BE a Fanatical Purifier but the rest of the galaxy will think you are.
