Hush. That point should only be brought up as a last-resort.I think both of you are forgetting that sufficiently advanced forms of bio or synth tech would become essentially indistinguishable from each other in terms of capacity.

Synth don't need water, air, food so they need less logistics to support them.they are more resistant to extreme cold or heat.they can adopt more easily to high of low gravity.they are more resistant to high G force making them better pilots or better at orbital landing.they can update their bodies/software easily. That's only true if the synth has easy access to replacable parts. But out in the trenches, when new arms gets shot off, being able to manufacture replacement from simple nutrients may be much easier than finding the nearest vein of titan and other metals and setting up a factory.
As for supercomputers, our limited understanding of how biological ones work limits our ability to predict the maximum extent of their capabilities, so I'll just refer to the fact that we are already at a point where there is little practical need for high cranial computation capabilities.
Sure, you can calculate Pi to the 10...(lots of 0)...th digit. Or you can use an external computer to calculate it for you while your fleshy mmind focuses on more interesting stuff.
About the only real advantage is direct link to external computers, so that one would not need to use eyes, but then Stellaris has Psionics.
Water, Air, food. All easily available. Steel, Titanium, syntetic materials - all rare and/or require facilities to produce. Of course, geneticly engineered supersoldiersls laugh at any changes to G-force.Synth don't need water, air, food so they need less logistics to support them.they are more resistant to extreme cold or heat.they can adopt more easily to high of low gravity.they are more resistant to high G force making them better pilots or better at orbital landing.they can update their bodies/software easily.
the much bigger computational power of a synth over a fleshbag gives the synths so much more options.
synths fighting units can send combat data directly to each other lightning fast,so if one synth spotted you all of them know where you are.their better computational power also gives them much better combat analysis.
in theory a synth is clearly superior to a gene manipulated fleshbag,it is not even a contest.
They need more logistics to support them, spare parts and energy require more complicated production chains, while organic troops may resort to eating local life.Synth don't need water, air, food so they need less logistics to support them.
And less resistant to electromagnetic interference.they are more resistant to extreme cold or heat
Implying they have better navigation, targeting and evasion routines.they are more resistant to high G force making them better pilots
Would be a shame if enemy could update their software just as easy though.they can update their bodies/software easily.
Again, you are comparing floor-sized supercomputers with few liters of brain.the much bigger computational power of a synth over a fleshbag gives the synths so much more options.
Solved with basic telepathy update.synths fighting units can send combat data directly to each other lightning fast,so if one synth spotted you all of them know where you are.
Implying they are capable of providing flexible enough solutions..their better computational power also gives them much better combat analysis.
That's it. See you on a battlefield.in theory a synth is clearly superior to a gene manipulated fleshbag,it is not even a contest.
Will the robots model be adapted to look similar to your species ?
Water, Air, food is not easily available in the vacuum of space or in hostile planets.ships designed for meatbags are more costly because they need life support systems.Water, Air, food. All easily available. Steel, Titanium, syntetic materials - all rare and/or require facilities to produce. Of course, geneticly engineered supersoldiersls laugh at any changes to G-force.
I don't see why you only consider them as soldiers, but I guess you are right. Robots make much better mindless slaves to throw at an enemy during war. They have little other uses, are basically worthless at other tasks and their losses can Their genetically engineered superiors will sip whisky in the meantime.
Pretty rude to call someone 'they'![]()
There is no such thing as casus belli in Stellaris. There are only wargoals. So currently what you are asking for is a casus belli mechanic OR If you mean by that it would lessen the "threat" opinion modifier for clensing / cedeing planets well, I guess sure why not, just modify that number.I hope spiritualist empire get a nice "cleanse robotic heresy" casus belli on robotic societies.

Yes I know, so what is your point with this statement? Let me repeat myself:Casus belli is an actual term used beyond EU4 you know
I actually need to inquire further on this. Whats the etymology, whats actually rude about it, is it specifically referring to a singular person or an group that's wrong, and so on. I considered they to be a generally neutral way to refer to someone or something without actually knowing the gender, or referring to an entity, or something along those lines
I'm seriously a little lost on why this was pointed out.
From what I was seeing, he was refering to Paradox as a whole rather than Wiz himself, thus using what I considered to be a entity choice rather than the person, as in Wiz.How would you feel if someone directly quoted you, and then responded to that referring to you as "they" instead of "you"? Wiz is the lead dev on this project, and was it was basically implied he had no input on what "they" do on it. Unintentionally I'm sure, but nonetheless....
is it bad that I agree with you here or good as the image does not look like it likes peopleWhy fight about synth vs enhanced flesh if we can have the best of both worlds?
Spiritualist will probably end up being (like) the unbidden![]()
I guess its hard to like lesser beings for them.is it bad that I agree with you here or good as the image does not look like it likes people
Too late bud, psionics already exist in the game.i'm just hoping that the Spiritualist counterpart to this won't be some silly space magic
