Somehow, in my game, the Ikko-ikki accepted vassalage under the Isshiki. They are colored brown in the clan map, they are at war with all the Isshiki's enemies, and where they have revolted in Nanbu they do not declare independence, or even siege--as Isshiki is not at war with Nanbu.

I can conduct diplomacy with the Ikko-ikki, as well. Strangely, however, they do not count the Isshiki as their liege, nor do the Isshiki count them as a vassal. All the same, they seem to be diplomatically linked and also linked on the clan map.

It's very odd.

What version of the game are you playing? Do you have the 1.2 patch?

Can you attach a save game?

When I reloaded the game, it seemed to correct itself. The Seki clan was suddenly independent.

Only things aren't quite the same. There are no Ikko-ikki territories, and they've never returned; the armies named Ikko-ikki seem to be part of Seki's retinue. In addition, they're not on the ledger screen that lists "clans," though I can conduct diplomacy with Seki normally as if they aren't rebels. This is very weird.

Let me figure out how to attach savegames; I also have a couple of pictures.
