IGC Crashes

Just venting, here, but it really, really, really bugs me that I've downloaded IGC 2.3(?) because I really love it, but I am always getting random crashes that put me back into the desktop.

Usually I can get back into my game from the autosave, but sometime I get an error message that the save file is corrupted.

I know version 3.0 is being beta tested. Will it be finished before EUII or has EUII taken the rush out of version 3.0's sails?

I know there is no simple answer to these crashes (that's why it's called "the random crash to desktop") but they are just really, really annoying. It seems like they happen most often when I play a Minor power, but I've been getting them as France and Turkey, too.

Okay, that helped a little bit. Back to restoring saved games...

Hmmm... actually for me ever since I got 2.3 I've haven't had many crashes at all. Maybe I'm just lucky.

heagarty, I had the same problem with 2.3, couldn't get past 100 years without the game crashing continually. I had not experienced any crashing before 2.3

Try uninstalling EU completely, then reinstall, install the patch 1.09 then the IGC. This worked for me, no more crashes and the IGC has been running for me since.

My game wasn't crashing before I installed the IGC.

On a clean install, with the regular GC, I played 300 years without a crash.

Anyway, once I'm finished with my Sweden IGC, I don't think I'm gonna play anymore.
I should receiver the Shogun expansion pack by next week (only 14.99$US!) and I'll probably quit EU until EU2 comes out in december.
