You're all grasping at straws. You have to force yourself to misunderstand the statement made. He's clearly saying they are aiming for middle-may, and nothing has changed about that.
If that's wrong, then WHY are people from Paradox going around making these claims?

They clearly have not told Paradox if a Paradox employee is going around telling people that the patch is on-track for a release within the next few days.

I already tried to tell you: CO and PI are two _different_ companies!
Cause it's still the ETA between these two companies. That's business and if you fail to understand how thinks work it's neither PI nor COs fault.

OMG.
I like the game, but can't play it as I want.
Sometimes I do, but not that much anymore.
I want to use many assets and mods.
But then the game behaves like hell.
Loading to main menu: 5 minutes.
Loading a save game or starting a new game: more than 5 minutes.
Same stuff creeped through twice as it seems.
And the modding API...
And some modders...
I could play vanilla.
But then it's so unfinished.
I'm not a native 16 years old coming from the rain forest and sitting in front of a PC the first time of my life and shown how to use a mouse and then let alone with C:SL and say "Wow!"
I'm 40 years old and got high claims.
So, I learned to hold my mouth shut most of the time because criticism is a good way to attract trolls that call me a troll.
But I'm disappointed AND I got hope, both.
I'm an agnostic. With an over-average IQ and apart off the most social conventions.
So, I watch, hope and twiddle my thumbs.
And please nobody tell me that I should leave and go elsewhere because I don't like it - this is typical for our neo-liberal age of times to say so.
I like the game, but can't play it as I want.

Yes, two different companeis. And CO works for paradox, dude! So if someone from their PARENT company is going around handing out informaton on stuff, surely they should have the correct information?
And are you trying to claim that when this Paradox person goes on reddit and answers a user's question about the game's patch, they're...transferring informaton to CO? They don't intend that publicly posted information posted in response to a users question to be an answer to the user's question? What are you trying to say? This isn't insider information, this is publicly posted, as an answer, to a user!
The simple fact here is that Paradox apparently thinks the patch is on-track to come out within the next week, whereas Colossal Order says that it's not even done with the design phase for W2W buildings, and I consider that to be really concerning! Because it means one of these two people is REALLY WRONG, and information being handed out publicly to the player is not reliable!
