Just wondering about all the nations that get annexxed historically. If you play them what happens, do you get asked what you want to do?

USAF_777 said:The inherit country event command never works against a human player.
The only way events can kill you is if you have to secede every province you own or release vassals which take all of your provinces.

So if we say that I play Hungary in Vanilla! Can i survive to the end of the game?
Are not at my home so i don't know how the event are like!
But something like this...
1516
Trigger> Hab exist Tur owns three provinces "Magyar" Pest and one more!
A: Game Over
B: Independence
1540
Trigger> event have not happened
A: Game over
Can i survive this events?
Can i create a vassal on Magyar and then let Ottoman kill them?
Krantz said:Have taken a closer look on the event and i had wrong about it.
Hungary can survive but only if Ottoman control Magyar Pest and Maros.
Olaus Petrus said:Yes, but because human controlled nation can't be annexed via event, this affects only to AI Hungary, which can also survive if there is no Austria. Otherwise AI Hungary is annexed almost in every game.
jwolf said:USAF is correct. Even if the event says your country is to be inherited by X, the command does not take effect against a human played nation. I actually didn't believe this until fairly recently when I tried an experiment playing Delhi vs. the Mughals. I waited until the mid 1520s, started a war against the Mughals, and let them capture my capital. That triggered the "Battle of Panipat" event which is supposed to make the Mughals inherit Delhi. The event triggered and was displayed in the log, but no inheritance or transfer of provinces took place.
