Was reading through this thread and wanted to drop my two cents, because why not.
OP, wow, just wow. People can still play the game or post about it and not like it. There’s not always a correlation, especially when posting about it. Why? Because they want to provide feedback so it gets better. Generally a lot of the people who “hate” Vic3 want to see it improved, be it in AI, UI/UX, performance, warfare, the map itself, etc. Criticism, critique, and feedback can come from all sorts of people and you need to live with it. Telling them to go play the games they love will lead to an echo chamber where only worshippers will say anything, and that’s a problem. A good game needs to have constructive criticism to improve, and an echo chamber will hinder that ability. Sure, I like Vic3, but I hate the lack of accuracy in certain places *cough cough* Polynesia *cough cough* and I’m not so thrilled on warfare as it feels empty. So what do I do? I offer criticism and feedback. People like you fail to realize the ramifications this can cause from telling haters to go away, because haters offer a new perspective that ultimately help the game improve, because worshippers will not help the game improve. My point is that we need all sorts of people to help a game improve. Haters, mild likers, lovers, dislikers, indifferents, all of them offer a perspective on the game that can help it improve.
