1.30.6 with all DLC before Leviathan. Am currently playing a game as a pirate Iceland (relocated the capital to Greenland after achieviog independence, so no CNs for me in North America and the Caribbean), it's a lot of fun.

Not to my knowledge. The lack of force vassalisation probably make them slightly weaker. I, on the other hand, am making Saxony strong again.
I'm playing on 1.31.2. The vassal thing is annoying and it runs slower, but I just like a few of the new QOL things that were added.
I just finished an Ideas Guy+For Odin+FCFS campaign I started on 1.29.x on 1.30.6. Also, I have a multiplayer campaign going on where we chose 1.30.6 over 1.31.2.
Other than that, I wait for a stable version.

It’s OK as France are big and strong enough to conquer without depending on vassalisation (through conquest) strategies. The Estates switched themselves off around 1520 and the game runs quite slowly. But it’s still playable

I'm really trying with 1.30.6, but I feel like pdx jumped the shark with some of the features in leviathan, and I'm struggling to enjoy the game. Like I'm not playing the authentic version, but I never will want to play the authentic version anymore.

Current patch, no Leviathan expansion purchased. There are some bugs and missing assets in the game, but it's mostly the same game as the last patch. Too lazy to roll back to earlier patches, lol.

previous patches break my UI/graphic mods, and I'm scared of playing with the latest patch... so, I'm waiting for the next patch that will likely fix half of the problems.

Which mods? I can use graphics mods, but not enlarged ui. Just have to start a game without the mods loaded, then exit and restart the game with the mods loaded. I have shadows and improved map graphics running with .6

Also 1.30.6. I'm starting to question the wisdom of continuing to adopt updates for all of my paradox games, as I'm starting to feel that 1. Updating and not purchasing the DLCs has gotten to the point where it makes the game worse than the earlier version 2. Old bugs are simply not getting fixed.
I still enjoy my paradox games and I'll still being pouring hours into them, but at this point Paradox needs to convince me that new versions/ DLCs are not inferior products.

I am not using the resume or continue game buttons and am not playing Ironman. I like "random" Lucky Nations.
No real problems, about the same as any other casual French Run.....
The Indigenous Peoples of North America are Paper Tigers' thus I don't get all the whining about how OP they are. The only real drawback is not being able to find places to send my colonists.....but plenty of places to send a "stack"! Lol.
I usually like to play with a major to get a feel for a patch/DLC before trying harder starts.

Just finished 4 achievements on 1.30.4. Now I will wait on the next patch around the middle of the week to see if I will reactivate Leviathan.
