Vicky 2 came out right at the wrong time, as CK2 was the next game and it moved them to a new, more profitable model of development. They did pretty good with Vicky 2, but the company had moved to a newer, better engine, with a better sales model as well.

After HoI4 why dont they use the upgraded engine to remake all there past games? They have done EU and now are working on HOI, Why not try and make an improved version of Vicy?
