I'd like a popup message when a unit has been created.

Something that has bothered me is the absence of a message to indicate that units have been created. For example, I go to my home core provinces during a war and create some desperately needed units. I would like to go back to the battles at hand in foreign lands and manage things over there. It would be best if the game would give me a message that my new unit is ready so that I can manage them however they're needed as soon as they are available.

So, the way it is (In Nominee), I need to keep one eye on the units being created so that I don't forget about them and let them sit in the home country too long. But I would rather focus all attention elsewhere and be notified at the appropriate time.

Well, that would probably be huge and messy.

I know. But just one unique (-ish!) mission or decision for each nation might not be horrible to code. Karaman, for example, could have a mission to mirror their ill-fated attempts to take territory from the Ottomans. They didn't succeed in the long term, but they tried. Or something to represent their sea trade. Something like that, to make the nation a little bit different to play. At the moment, countries like Karaman are just other people's speed bumps. There's never been a Karaman AP, for example.

a real family-tree, something between the CK-model and the not-a-family-tree-system we have now.
After all, durnig a significant part of the EU3 era people were married of for what can be considered very CK-reasons.

even more regions than those that exist.

there must be day and night, winter and summer.
more strategy military in the combat.

er, there is winter and summer (go stand in the desert in July). Night is rather pointless - night actions were exceedingly rare (except for some assaults) during the period.

Victoria 2's SoI and advanced Diplomacy

Dynasties that actually MEAN something and are remembered for future pretenders and restorations.

a focus on the reformation to make it even slightly reasonable and historic and not random and entirely nonsensical as it currently is

there is winter already, northern provinces between November and February, i believe, get bad population growth.

the game is, lets be fair, good enough already. We only really need to balance out tribes and ROTW nations to make them more fun, as, after the first few games, these gain popularity as players seek something different.

Ninja and Pirate verus Predators. [Only joking]

Seriously, how about just making each state more political with subordinates vieing for power over local regions (use a provincial list with character drill down button on a tab from the main menu) similar to CK except it does not work in a singularly Feudal way but in multipal government type. Then you could have confederated states under one Monarch for example and thus have regents controling for you the various large states, e.g Charles V HRE giving orders from Spain that Austria invade Northern Italy or the Balkans by giving instructions to his regent his borther the future Ferdinand I HRE.

The abilitiy to choose a successor or abdicate titles in favour of others.

The ability to create new states from your own and choose their government type. Rather than just release vassels.

Improved diplomacy by barter diplomacy (game pauses on the day of negociation, terms are accepted by receiving state or a counter proposal is given, the player responds, the game moves on a day and a new response is given.) More options rather than yes or no.

No OPMs either they have more than one province or they are a faction within a larger faction.

Greater state efficiency with small factions that have connected provinces then in larger factions that are further seperated. However research should move at the pace of the fastest province, it should not role out accross each provinces until there are road links or control of the sea between the best province and the others.

I'm waiting for a troll to come here and say that we need less provinces and all non-European nations should be combined into one weak unplayable fraction called "Inferior Peoples to be Conquered", so that by the end of the game, each province would be under European control.

I'd like to se a possibility to with spies etablish liberation forces in for example all areas of polish cultured-provinces then my troops fight along the polish libertion armies and in that areas the polsih nation will be etablished as long the forts fall, but until you haven't signed peace the provinces is like "colonies" with the option to seize the province. So this means you'll have to be in war with the nation(Austria)* and there has to be nation(Poland)* that could break free and you'll have to control a province(Mazovia)* in the optional new nation.
*Just examples
