I wish for better rebel management. Or at least the option to put a unit on automated rebel-hunting. For example:

1. Pick a unit.
2. Pick all the provinces for him to guard and let the AI do the rest.
3. Only show me a popup if the automated rebel-hunting unit gets into troubles or if a province falls to rebels.

I'd like such a feature as well. Another possibly easier option would be for land units to be able to patrol in the same way as naval units.

I think the problem is the level of abstraction the game has to have in order to function; to a degree it removes a lot of micromanagement and I guess it'd be unlikely to offer much more in terms of trading or many other (very good) suggestions.

You're right but lookin' at HOI3 there's possibillites to improve it.

Battle names, should be not provincial but place-desiged - i mean - it should be named by cites and villages (on the province of course) and it should be randomly taken... no more : BATTLE IN PROVINCE KRAKOW !!! (or even under the main city - maybe it would be, but normaly it is not, ussualy.)

It would be realy fine.

Also : Historical disaster events in provinces, and also : historical weather (it would be somehow defined but there should be decisions that would help to avoid some of them (like - flooding can be stoped if you have good system of canals - so it would be not a disaster, but a blessing ;)*)

*thats the reason i dont like PO party in poland - they could not let it become a real disaster if made in time - and would even become a blessing - because water would stop the draught that we have now... but - who cares...

PS: Maybe even i should made Komorowski 3 adm rather than 6 adm for that regard!!!

EDIT : He is such a ruler that you would want to send to war and pray that die!!! ;(

I like to se the auto AAR define dates of conquests, imortent battles, explorations. Follow the timeline not this king made this and this and he conquered this and lost this.

One thing I would really like to see is allowing countries to join wars after the war has already started. Not having this in is definitely my biggest problem with the game atm. Also with this diplomatic option to request country to join war on your side should obviously be added, this could of course be also used before the war had started. I think best way to handle the previous would be allowing you to choose date when you would all declare war as this would easily allow asking multiple nations to join the war.

Colonizing should be more fleshed out. I don't have any specific ideas for this expect adding lot more colonizing specific events and also making the natives play more active role than just a number.

Finally I would like to see the expansion mainly focus on areas outside Europe. Add more nations you can form, events, all kinds of cool things ;)

I've just tried to play as Livionian order/knights of the sword and found out some possible changes Estlands trade goods should be fish or naval supplies. Knight ordern should be an own type of governement, that boosts the army with dicipline and morale

Speaking of wars, I'd like to see the ridiculous peace offers, from the ai, ended. I mean the ones where it demands as much money as possible, & giving up cores & alliances, when there is a 0 warscore. No one will ever choose accept these, and I must assume the ai rejects them too, as (a) similar, but lower, demands by me always get the "they will reject this offer" message, & (b) I don't recall seeing any such peace accepted by one ai vs another.

The only thing it does is achieve a "gotcha" if you click wrong. And that means exit-and-reload.

Surely the ai has better uses for their diplomats than this?

A building that represents Local Naval Patrols. Coast Guard?

A ship in every port ruins the Fleet tracker facility to the far right of the screen. (Colony, Army, Battle tracker thingy).

Not a bad idea. In EUII, forts were supposed to deter pirates.

Really, I'd just like to have the piracy patrol time put in defines, so we could tweak it as we wish. And then a few triggers added so we could write our own events.

change piracy so it causes increased naval attrition and loss of income in neighboring provinces, instead of spawning an actual fleet. Pirate fleets should only appear when funded by nations.

-Make combat more like HOI2- armies can be encircled and won't retreat into your territory often
-Easier for Far East countries to westernize or be competitive technologically

1.) Historically, armies during the period sometimes marched right past each other. There were no "fronts" like in WWI/II, so encirclement doesn't make too much sense.

2.) It's already easy for the player. Did you mean the AI (so everyone can complain how unhistorical it is if someone does do it?)

+1 from me, but switch sides cause a great hit to prestige

world outside of Europe.. well, at first, east asia, and Ethiopia...
