What special features could it have?

A few ideas:

- Billeting - most Irish armies during the later medieval period relied extensively on coin and livery to maintain their troops. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coign_and_livery. Perhaps events to exchange tax base for soldiers or manpower.
- Gallowglasses(Redshanks too later) - a special mercenary unit from the outer hebrides, though frequently given land. Perhaps a Gallowglass estate, with raisable gallowglass soldiers, perhaps integration of billeting system.
- Raiding - events much like cossack deprivations whereby Irish provinces may raid their neighbours, taking wealth and increasing devastation
- Black rent - subsidies to Irish factions to prevent raids.
- Tanistry and pretender wars.

Any other ideas?
