The next update will bring the civic "Idyllic Bloom" into the game where an empire can construct "Gaia Seeders" on ideal planets to gradually transform those into Gaia Worlds. In another thread (Link here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...bloom-be-compatible-with-life-seeded.1486399/ ) I and other users discussed the possibilities of using that civic combined with the "Life-Seeded" origin when user HFY suggested "Idyllic Bloom" to be an origin which gave me my own idea how that could work. So here it is:
Basically "Idyllic Bloom" as an origin would let you start as an Plantoid/Fungoid empire where your starting species has a special trait. If a planet has a certain number of those Pops the planet would make the same gradual changes towards a Gaia World the same way as with those planned "Gaia Seeders", with the end result being a true Gaia world once you reach the necessary population size. With other words, the Pops of the starting species would essentially become the "Gaia Seeders" themselves and since they are practically walking vegetation, it makes sense. It also fits into the in-game lore with the background of the Maweer Overseers or maybe even the Baol. The limitation being of course that this can only happen within the starting empire because otherwise other empires could abuse that system once they get one of those Pops and use them for terraforming themselves which would ruin the balance of the game.
