I have some ideas for winter war events.
I. When SU demands Finnish territories if Finland secedes demanded area then there should be an event which should make a choice to change Finnish government to communistic one. Historically Winter War was the consequnce of Finnish decision not to secede land area to SU.
Winter War created a strong spirit in Finnish people which probably prevented communist coup. Communistic coup would be possible if Finland decides to secede demanded land to SU and Finland would choose the similar road that Baltic countries historically selected. I think that there should be a theoretical chance that Finland would turn a communistic nation. However if Finland would turn communistic she would lose her generals because Finland had a civilwar 1918 and Finnish generals fought that war in white army. Communists would probably purge them as a potential threat.
II. I think that if Finland signs a peace to end the Winter War then there should an event that brings peace between SU and Allies. If Finland signs peace then Allies would have no reason to continue a war with SU. If SU decides to annex Finland and she would have a war against Allies too this event wouldn´t work because Allies would like to see independent Finland.
This event also would limit the German Winter War exploit. If Germany leaves Czechslovakia alone and conquers Poland and waits that SU first declares a war against a democracy and then Allies would declare war on SU. In this situation Germany would take advantage and conquer other countries when allies are engaged in a war against SU.
Any ideas or thoughts?
