Well, there are some religions which are missing from the game(or maybe lack of religion also).

1. Atheism

Would be nice if we were able to have a decision or even an event to officially make a country not have a religion. Honestly I have no idea how this would work. But it would be nice to have an Empire which bans all religion. As a negative side I think it should not receive CB's against religious nations, and religious rebels should be slightly more common.

Bonuses: +1 Tolerance of the true faith(I know this sounds stupid, but that's what the bonus is called. Maybe for Atheism it can be called something like religious intolerance?), technology cost -2%

2. Judaism

I know that this religion is available if you convert a save from CK2 to EU4. But it would still be nice to have the actual religion in the game. Maybe in countries which at that time had a decent number of Jews or people following that faith, they could get a Jewish insurrection to change the provinces' religion. Also, perhaps a decision for the Kingdom of Jerusalem to adopt the religion of Judaism. Also, honestly I don't know how they should view the Christian and Islam nations, as heretics or heathens. And the same goes for those nations against them. They should probably keep the Tolerance of the True Faith bonus. But I think they should also get a CB against Christian and Islam nations, and possibly a bonus when trying to convert their provinces.

Bonuses: +1 Tolerance of the true faith, +10% Global tax modifier

Well, that's all that I can think of currently. I will add any religions you suggest to this main post so that, if the developers looks at this thread(*cough*WIZ*cough*), it will be easier for them to find the ideas.

(As a side note just because I can say it, ugh the
option of posts is so inefficient.)

True. There has not been a nation in whole history of human being that was ateistic. Only individuals.

Aye. Now a secular state, there have been many.

The tale end of the game would be where Secularism as a state principal would be introduced, and could be a feature on its own to add some fun and change to the late game.

Whats the difference exactly?

Atheism is lack of belief in God, whereas secularism is the separation of church and state. Atheism is a religious position, whereas secularism is a political position.

As such, atheism as a religion you can convert your country to in this time period makes no sense, whereas secularism would be an interesting idea for the late game if someone could come up with some events/mechanics for it.

Secularism seems pretty well modeled by tolerance IMO. It impacts relations with other faiths, unrest, and religious unity, similar to how a secular state would be.

Atheism would be terrible, but secularism ( Or french ' laïcisme '. ) would be interesting.
But perhaps more as a decision ? Like the small religious decisions that give you +/- taxes, +/- stab modifier.. ?

Anyway, it should be cool.

As far as I can see. Tengri was for all intents and purposes unused during the EU4 timeline, or perhaps only so few people practiced it that it was negligible. Last mention of it being practiced, which I could find, seems to be the 9'th century and I can't find anything of it being practiced until its modern revival.

Piri, mind sending me some links about it?
