1. The introduction of new types of building. Specifically Oil Refiniries, also Coal to Oil refiniries, so you could specifically bomb these. Also increase oil conusmption rates so Germany runs out of Oil as historical.

2. Obviously a USA AI that actually invades Western Southern Europe, conducts strategic bombing campaign. Also Japan thatactually performs somewhere close to historical.

3. More differentation in the tech tree, so not all countires have the same stats for their tanks pances and infantry. The chance to specialise in one area at the expense of others.

4. An AI that does not move one division in at a time to reinforce battles after they are finished.

5 Naval combat that doesnt finish in a blink of the eye. What about the option to move into a mini map of each province, or at least the option to do this, for each battle. Which would involve pausing the game. Even this option for land battles. ( A bit far fetched still, a mini game thing)

6. Perhaps withdraw subs as in game sprites instead seperate function which allows you to alloacte submarine resources to convoy raiding, submarine hunting, that calculates convoy losses automatically. Perhaps same with air power. Strategic bombing and interceptors. (Not sure if i explain this too well)
CAS and tactical offering percentage gain in combat reflecting level and amount of air superiority. I play Battle of Bulge scenario last night and in terms of HOI it is stupid to attack in winter, however in historical terms this was conducted in winter so ground troops had cover of fog and snow to deter allied air power. Air power is too fiddly for my liking. You could still build planes but would add to air general screen and losses would be calculated, rather than simulated as land combat ( again not sure I can explain what i mean here)

also perhaps a stacking limit for navies, so my 30 ship super fleet does not destroy the piecemeal ai navy, of stakcs f 4 and 5 ships.

great points right here....
Just ask the Bismark about this one

Large fleet battles are nice, but small squads need a purpose in this game... Most ships in WWII did not traval in huge battle fleets

also the ability to strategic deploy units into armies at the front. Like deploying an HQ to an Army at the front. At the moment I have to deply behind the front move the army back and merge. while i am doing this the aiattacks because of the odds.

also more provinces representing urban areas. Perhaps create more provinces on the map so their are a lot more towns and cities.

( sorry did not see suggestions forum )

There already is a stacking limit for navy and when there is such a big navy i think its fine that they operate that way. I do believe there is a problem concerning the naval zones.

Because IRL the smaller fleets could out manouvre the bigger fleets by just going around them or out run them. With the large sea zones its impossible to outrun them, or just dont run into them...

Want to have some fun as Germany with a UK player? Send out some CL:2 CV raider fleets and put "Fleet Spotted" messages on pop-up. Every time one of these tiny little raider fleets sees the RN floating nearby, they use their superior speed to out run them. Results? 30 ship fleets sailing about, wasting oil, and doing absolutely nothing useful.

Of course, they'll need air cover to be protected from naval bombers.
