These ideas randomly turned up in my mind.

A DLC where you could build a sky city.

Imagine you already have a city on the ground, and you now have the tech to build a sky city. How could this be done? Build a sky elevator. Buy an additional map (which is not really a map per say since there isn't any land). The sky elevator is your starting point and you have a map tile available to begin building your sky city. At this point, you won't see the rest of your city on the ground, it's gonna look like you're building a new city from scratch without any land. But if you were to switch back to your land city, you'll see your sky city... in the sky. ;) But yeah, you can buy a number of map tiles to expand your sky city. You could build additional sky elevators, or even mini rockets or blimps that will take citizens from the land to the sky city and back again.

A DLC where you can build a city that flies around the Earth in orbit.

Again, this is connected to, and an extension of the city you have on land and your sky city. It's basically the same idea as above, but obviously we're taking it further than the clouds, all the way into orbit. :)

That seems... a little too out there for a DLC for skylines, while some stuff like the monuments and content creator packs are a little sci-fi, the non modded game is more of a realistic game. A more futuristic city builder game and this would be a brilliant idea, (and a sci-fi city builder would be fun) but for this one it would be out of place.

This seems like it would require fundamental changes to the game engine. If we are diving that deep into the code there are about a billion changes I would want before this. It's not a bad idea, as far as wishlist's go, but it is unreasonable as far as actual practical additions go. Hell, this is not even something I would vote for for a hypothetical C:S 2, at least not before most everything else on the existing wish/fix-list.

Bring it up a gain when the base game is basically perfect, you will probably find me way more supportive then.
