Since the developers stated that they will update the converter sometimes after the new expansion for eu4 comes out, and it will finally include mechanics to change development (as i understood), i can finally start a ck2 save to output it to eu4, and if the eu4 to vic2 gets updated for 1.18 (will take a while probably with the institutions), go continue in vic2.

However, i am somewhat competent in these games, so world conquering would be something relatively easy to do. As such, I would want some interesting ideas for a ck2 playthrough, one that would mostly involve tall(i mean not expanding outwards) play sooner or later (after i get a complete de jure empire?). Any ideas?

I just bought CK2 and here is my first idea: Start as a Norse count, get strong enough trough raiding and subjugation by mid-800 to invade some spot in northern France, create Norman culture, convert to Christianity and become important duke, participate in crusades afterwards. Hopefully, be that one most important crusader to get awarded a kingdom.

No plans for conversion though, as I do not own EU4 (yet). Also, it cannot be counted as my first game, as I have restarted it some 5 or 6 times in past few weeks.

It is also fairly nice way to learn the game - I find tribal Norse gameplay to be surprisingly easy.
