As with every war, military, sport or work environment, there will always be heroes somewhere in the world in their field, no matter what. I wonder, with the new ability to create blank units and brigades, would Heroes ever be a logical or applicable aspect?
I have toyed with the idea of creating random 'hero' events in times of war under certain conditions e.g. "Vice Admiral Cunningham proved his superior tactical prowess against the Royalist Canadian Navy against our Republican Navy today with the destruction of two Canadian Aircraft Carriers and three Battleships. For the Canadians to recover from this loss would be criminal. Let us look to Cunningham to lead us to victory on the seas!" This is in the KR universe btw. I've never been sure how to implement this by the way. But the idea of flavour battle events really does tickle my fancy.
Back on topic, would it be possible or warranted that you could add a 'hero' brigade or attachment to a certain division/wing and they gain morale and minor combat bonuses? Hmm, a larger scale extension I suppose is letting a 'hero' into the government. I don't know.
Thoughts?
