Because this is called Cities in Motion, I think there should be bicycles for the population to take. Maybe dedicated Bike Lanes, Bike Paths in Map Editor, and adding vehicles that allow for people to transport their bikes long distances. I have not seen one city simulator to incorporate bikes in the gameplay. I honestly think that they will make the city seem more realistic and gameplay more challenging.

While I agree it would increase the realism in the game it would increase the amount of 'stuff' running around within the game, and do odd things to the travel-times of vehicles. There are motorcycles that move around the city so it could be modeled, in theory, but I'm not sure it would add enough to the game to justify it. That being said, I would enjoy seeing a game in the future that took bikes into account. At the same time I'd love to see one way streets so who knows.

I agree, rent-a-bike stations would be pretty cool to see in the game. They're already in use in London, as well as a couple of other cities, and seem to be working fairly well, now that the teething problems are gone.
