For a long time I've wished their were more map colors to choose from for the custom nation designer, and a while ago I downloaded mods that increased the number. I quickly found out that these mods led me to a new problem: there was no way to easily navigate the many colors available.
I think both of these issues could be alleviated by implementing a hexadecimal-slider-like system, if it would be reasonably possible to do so.
Something along the lines of this is what I'm thinking. I feel like this would give the player much more control over exactly what map color they'd want their nation to be, without totally overwhelming them with so many options. Putting it in hexadecimal would also allow people to easily import a color they find and like online just by typing in the code they want. (Additionally people could get up to the 75 custom nation limit without reusing colors lol.)
I understand if this isn't feasible because of how the game works or if this would be too much of a pain in the butt to code into the nation designer. Just wanted to share my thoughts in case
