Id like to have more control over vassals - anyone know if anything is planned?

One of the things my vassals do that really annoys me is random planting of frontier outposts that are useless to them and block my colonisation, and not colonising worlds in their own borders.

Can or will be we getting expansion options/controls for vassels? just a few options like with the slave edits we could choose from. something like

Vassels are allowed total freedom of expansion
Vassals only allowed build frontier and colonies in their own borders
Vassals are not allowed to expand with frontier or colonise

Then for individual vassels choose between (like like picking sector focus)

Client vassal - a vassal/tributary/sector hybrid where they pay the overlord a % credits and 50% of their fleet power
Research vassel - a vassal not permitted to build ships, fleet capacity (but no resources) go to the overlord. they focus entirely on research under the protection of the overlord
Military Vassel - no tribute. no fleet capcity, builds 0 research structures, everything to metal and energy- this vassel focusus on producing ships and armies to fight along side you (the strongest vassal type but also the most dangerious if they rebel) - the other vassels all have restrictions that hinder the scope of the rebellion
Slave vassal - same as above except they are not allowed to build any ships, 100% of fleet capacity, and 75% all resources go to overlord and all citizsans of the vassal are slaves (no robots or synths just good ol hard labour)
Builder vassal - perhaps for the new expansion have a builder vassel - no military ships, min science production, no tribute the vassal focuses on building Utopia projects whole the overlord protects the construction site

I like this part. I think it would work very well, and give vassals more incentive to fight a war of independance

Research vassel - a vassal not permitted to build ships, fleet capacity (but no resources) go to the overlord. they focus entirely on research under the protection of the overlord

No, this would break vassals. If you do this, a vassal would never be able to wage a war of independence. If I want to permanently keep a vassal in my empire, I could just make it a research vassal and it would never be able to build warships in a attempt to regain their freedom.

Yes to almost all of it. (Only the "research vassal" is a bit of an overkill)

It always bothered me that vassals arent able to colonize anything anymore.
So actually they are more or less only there to create space between an unliked neighbour or to be integrated later on.

Also I hope that Vassals with the Utopia DLC would always priotize the voidborn ascension perk so that they can at least play tall and build some habitats and finally would be able to construct ringworlds.
So it wouldnt be pointless to push them with gifts and hold them as pets.

I think that these are some good ideas, they just need to be developed a bit more. Maybe you cannot call the research vassel in to wars, it achieves a similar effect to not allowing them to build ships while still giving them the chance to wage independence wars.
