I'd like some nation suggestions for my brand spankin' new VIP 0.3 campaign.

I was thinkin' of goin' Belgium, but, no.

It's nothing against the Belgians. It's just that Leopold II was such a dick, I can't even bring myself to pretend to run the government. Plus, not many cool events.

So that said, anyone got any suggestions? I'm actually kinda' feelin' like giving Great Britain a shot. I've never used Great Britain before, because building a medium, "one-clump" nation like, say, Austria, into a mighty power is infinitely easier than taking a nation like Britain, scattered all across the globe, and properly managing it into THE power.

So anyway, that's it. I'm just tossin' around options and whatnot.

I'm not even sure if they have an ETA yet, but they are working on it already, that I do know. But regardless, Darkrenown has a patch that fixes many of the bugs in 0.3. Look in the patches and mods thread for it.

Well, I broke 3000 posts, so I made myself this avatar. In my humble opinion, I think it's totally sweet. The imperial eagle, emblazened with the shield of the state, with an olive branch in one talon and a rifle in the other. The eagle looks towards the rifle, meaning that it's willing to shoot first and ask questions later.

Try Austria or Brazil. A real of path ot thorns I say, especialy Austria. Brazil isn't so bad some of the scripted revolts can cause rise in bloodpressure because the country is large and you'll have to chase to rebels all around the country... :wacko:

0.3b is in testing as of today, so it should hopefully be released very soon. (We don't want to create any new problems in the process of fixing the current ones.)

Your new avatar is most excellent. We should use that in VIP as the flag for the Texas military dictatorship (aka Ranger Party).

Austria is actually really fun to play. Yes there are revolts, but by keeping taxes low there aren't too many. It provides a challenging game, but I think that's needed in SP.

There are really cool choices to make too. During the counterrevolution you can pick from 4 types of governments.
