Icons for research tree...

Hi

I am new to the game and apologies for the primitive question.

I was wondering if there are any updates to the research tree icons of units, especially in this case for example the German Uboats where they are all represented by Type II icons. It is a shame as it seems they strived to get the profile icon correct for some units but not for others.

I know it is trivial but are there any place to get this "fixed" like a mod etc..I know the subs are not the only units to suffer generic icons.

yes, there are several mods which change the images used in the tech tree for units. Have a look through the mods section, you might find what you're looking for there.

I use some different ones myself- "Unique Infantry Equipment", "Guns Trucks", "Icons for plane", and then bunch of tank tree mods (such as "Hungary Tree") from Admiral Caon. With all of them together, I pretty much have all of my bases covered for a lot nations. Only thing I really haven't found is something for navies.
