Hello,

My wife killed all my desktop Icons.

I thought it would be easy to recover if I just found the launcher and said, 'Send to Desktop'

Well, the game runs, but without any of my DLC's even though they were checked in the launcher.

I have bought almost all the DLC's, and they are still in the DLC folder.

I bought game from Gamersgate, I do not want to reinstall everything.

How can I make my desktop Icon correct. Which file should it point to and does it need and special code?

Currently my game is at:
E:\Games\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II (with \DLC for addons that I bought.)

Any help would be appreciated so I can get going.

Thx,
PAW

Assuming you have a PC, just set an icon for ck2game.exe. That's the launcher. It's in the game folder along the ck2.exe. No code needed, unless maybe on Linux.

Just in case, have you checked if she just unchecked 'show desktop icons' (or whatever its like in english) in the desktop settings ?
Well it happened to me once that i didn't think about this option and it turned out to be the case.
