Description
------------
I have placed 3 non usual countries (Navarra, Granada and Aragon) in the .eug file.
The major changes were made in Aragon, not defined in the .inc file. I deleted some provinces from Spain and pasted them into the ARG (Aragon) tag.
I made also Naples an Aragonian vassal, put a land unit in Aragon and a naval unit in Catalonia. I created three new alliances including Aragon (military
and dinastycal alliances with Spain, and the royal marriage with Naples). The Aragon AI is the same as Spanish, but the amount of available settlers is not
the same.
Historical background
---------------------
Five countries were in the Iberic Peninsula in 1492: Castilla, Aragon, Navarra, Portugal and Granada. The first four were Christian kingdoms appeared after 700 year struggling with the Moors, a dark-skinned Muslim people who established a civilization in North Africa and Spain between the 8th and the 15th century A. D. The
remnant of this empire was Granada, the muslim country on South Spain.
Navarra had special links with the kingdom of France and was, eventually, annexed by Spain in the next century.
Fernando, king of Aragon, had a realm going from Spain through the Mediterranean Sea (Balears, Sicily, Sardinia, Malta) and the Naples kingdom was a vassal of Aragon, not Castilla.
After the marriage to Isabel of Castilla, we might talk about Spain as a country. But Aragon kept its laws until 1700, when the Spanish Succession War put an
end to these, after the coming of Felipe V, the first Spanish Borbon.
Portugal was independent on those days, but when Felipe II became king, in the 16th century, the country was also temporaly annexed by Spain.
